 Welcome Message

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping education and creating new opportunities for teaching, learning, leadership, and educational management. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in education, strengthening the capacity of the education workforce to engage with AI, while leveraging AI to transform professional development (PD), has become a global priority.

The Learning Innovations and Emerging Technologies Conference 2026 (LIET2026): PD4AI | AI4PD invites researchers, policymakers, school leaders, teachers, practitioners and technology innovators globally to join us from 27–29 November 2026 at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), Tai Po Campus. The conference is co-organised by EdUHK, SEAMEO Secretariat, UNESCO Headquarters, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE), The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Knowledge and Innovation Exchange Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Asia, and Pacific (KIX EMAP) Hub, and the UNESCO Chairs Programme.
